Before/after school program provides enrichment activities to children in their schools, giving them safe, supervised places to spend time with friends, learn new skills, and develop resourcefulness. Options include Personal Safety Awareness, sports, homework time, fine arts, field trips, literacy, science, math, field trips and more. The Onaway site offers school age care for children with special needs.

Before school: 7:00-9:15 AM
After school: 3:20-6:30 PM

To register your child(ren) during the 2009-2010 school year, please read the Parent Handbook, sign the Parent's Checklist Form and complete the SAC Enrollment form. Return both the Parent's Checklist Form signed and the SAC Enrollment form completed and signed with your check or credit card information by FAX or mail to:

Please note that your child cannot start SAC until 48 hours after we receive the completed forms and payment. Payments will not be accepted at the child care sites. All payments may be mailed using check or credit card; faxed with credit card; or paid at Thornton Park.     FAX# 216-991-4219.
Once your children have been registered, only full time (Monday-Friday) participants may pay their fees online.

There is no drop-in; pre-registration is required. Fees are due the first of the month. Late fee of $25 will be assessed if unpaid after the 6th of each month. No June payment for full-time students enrolled in September and attending all year.

Fundaze

When school is out, fun is in! All day child care when Shaker schools are not in session. Payments are not accepted at child care sites. All payments are to be made at Thornton Park. You  may also pay by phone, FAX (216) 991-4219, or online using MasterCard of Visa. There is no drop-in; pre-registration is required.
