- Enter from Warrensville Center Rd. to main lot with easy access to both pool and ice arena.
- Swimming: new tot pool and exciting spray ground, current channel, heated competition main pool with diving board and water slides.
- Indoor Ice Arena: Opens August-June with Learn-to-Skate, public skating, figure skating and ice hockey (youth and adult).
- Skateboard Park: Inline skaters and skate boarders only.
- Outdoor Basketball Court: Programmed instructional and open play.
- Walking Path: Wooded stroll around outside perimeter of pool.
- Additional facilities: Playground with climbing wall, outdoor tennis courts, batting cage and snack bar.

Register early! Some classes fill quickly. Registration ends and classes close two business days prior to first day of class.
Online: Accepted 24 hours/day using MasterCard/Visa.
In-person: Thornton Park (3301 Warrensville Center Rd.) and/or Stephanie Tubbs Jones Community Building (3450 Lee Rd.).
Proof of residency required. Current utility bill or any currently dated mail. Current holders of Recreation ID cards must have cards renewed annually as proof of residency.

For Your Information
The City of Shaker Heights may terminate a class with fewer than the required number of participants and provide a full refund/credit. Programs subject to change of location and/or personnel.
Recreation brochures are published three times/year and the camp brochure is published once/year. Brochures are mailed, at no charge, to every Shaker City School District household.
Inclement Weather: Classes are cancelled when Shaker schools are closed. Refer to local radio and TV stations, online at www.shaker.org or www.cancellations.com when you have a question about inclement weather. Call (216) 491-3143 for information on cancelled classes.

General Information
Decisions to hold classes based on enrollment at first class; no refunds granted after second session except for injury or illness. (Doctor's letter required.) Refund claim forms must be presented within 30 days of withdrawal from class or program.
Special programs such as child care, camps, and one-nighters handled on case-by-case basis.

No refunds for materials purchased. All refund requests are subject to a $10 processing fee with the exception of the following programs:

Fees for trips are refunded only if space can be filled and notice of withdrawal is received at least 24 hours in advance. Allow 4-6 weeks for refund to be processed.
