Chief Administrative Officer
The Chief Administrative Officer is responsible for the City’s day-to-day operations, works closely with the Mayor and City Council, participates in Council and committee meetings and public hearings, and serves as the Clerk of Council. Reviews departmental operating and capital budgets and approves hiring of personnel, expenditure of City funds and use of City facilities.

City Seeks Input on Moreland Neighborhood
Dateline: November 27, 2017 - As part of the Moreland Rising initiative and supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the City of Shaker Heights is engaging residents in a variety of ways to help inform the professional design of neighborhood gateways and historical markers to distinguish the City's Moreland neighborhood. Now through December 15, residents and other community members are invited to take an online survey to help in this process.
