Dog License

• Licenses can be purchased at the Public Works building at 15600 Chagrin Blvd.  During the hours of 8:00-5:00, Monday thru Friday.
• Dog owners can purchase the license until January 31, 2009 for the amount of $20.00 plus a  seventy-five cent deputy agent fee.
• After January 31st, a late fee of $20.00 will be accessed to the purchase price of the license. (The late fee is a charge from Cuyahoga county, not the city of Shaker Heights)
• Payable by check, money order or cash.  (No credit cards, please)
• Checks made payable to Cuyahoga County Treasurer
• All new residents to Shaker Heights must purchase a license within 30 days of moving to the city.
•  If you are moving from outside Cuyahoga County or the state of Ohio, a new license must also be purchased.
