#ShakerPlays Pop Up Programming

#ShakerPlays is back! #ShakerPlays is the Recreation Department’s free ‘pop-up’ programming held throughout the city, allowing our residents to get active, be creative, and try something new – no registration required. This year’s summer roster includes weekly Boot Camp Conditioning, Yoga in the Park & Qigong classes; Youth Crafts & Activities held in parks around the city; our Open Art drawing program at the Van Aken District; and free outdoor performances by the Shaker Heights Community Band. The #ShakerPlays Boot Camp Conditioning class returns this summer. Join instructor Agata Wojno every Monday from 6 - 7 pm at Thornton Park near the tennis courts for an outdoor workout designed to sculpt and define your body. This free program blends cardio, weights and body weight resistance based exercises to help tone your abs, back, arms and thighs. Get outdoors and get connected with a positive group of people working out and building community.

Please bring a yoga mat and dumbbells to class.
