Rent/Foreclosure Assistance

Cuyahoga County Rent Relief Fund

The $6.8 million Rent Relief Fund provides emergency rental assistance for up to three months to income-eligible tenants unable to pay their full monthly rent due to the economic impact from COVID-19. Payments will be made to landlords. Households that are at 120 percent of median income are eligible; for example, a family of four with an annual income of around $90,000 will qualify for the program. The Relief Fund is being administered by CHN Housing Partners, which will accept applications starting July 1.

Foreclosure Assistance/Property Tax Delinquency

Cuyahoga County funds four agencies to counsel residents dealing with mortgage foreclosure or property tax delinquency.
