The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is providing information to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community and workplace, including:

Under the State of Ohio’s Order dated April 30, 2020, businesses must comply with Facial Covering (Mask) requirements, Social Distancing Requirements, and more. This order is effective through May 29, 2020 (unless modified sooner).

  • For details on Facial Covering (Mask) requirements please review Section 8 of the order and see additional FAQs on Face Coverings in the Workplace provided by the State of Ohio.
  • For details on Social Distancing Requirements see Section 16 of the order.  Required measures include:
    • Designate six-foot distances. Designating with signage, tape, or by other means six foot spacing for employees and customers in line to maintain appropriate distance;
    • Hand sanitizer and sanitizing products. Having hand sanitizer and sanitizing products readily available for employees and customers;
    • Separate operating hours for vulnerable populations. Implementing separate operating hours for elderly and vulnerable customers; and
    • Online and remote access. Posting online whether a facility is open and how best to reach the facility and continue services by phone or remotely.
