Self-Guided Tours

Collage of homes and public buildings on self-guided tours

Over the years, the City’s Landmark Commission has offered the public tours that highlight the architecture, history and other interesting aspects of Shaker Heights. Now, we’re making these tours available in PDF format. In addition, you’ll find two interactive tours, including of our historic Moreland Neighborhood, created by ClevelandHistorical.org. Enjoy!

Some ground rules:

  • Many of these tours include private residences. Please view the residence from the road or sidewalk; you do not have permission to enter private property.
  • Please remember to observe social distancing protocols while out and about this spring, including when touring by foot or bicycle.

Thank you!
