Van Aken District Phase 2: Farnsleigh Apartments
RMS, developers of the Van Aken District, proposes to construct Phase 2 of the Van Aken District, a 230-unit apartment building located on the north side of Farnsleigh Rd. between Van Aken Blvd. and Tuttle Rd. The design process began in late 2020 and the proposed development requires the approval of the Architectural Board of Review, City Planning Commission, and Board of Zoning Appeals.
Existing Conditions and Background
The site is currently a parking lot and its development as apartments was envisioned in the 2008 Warrensville/Van Aken Transit-Oriented Development Plan.
Learn More and Provide Your Input
The review of the proposed apartment building includes a process of public meetings of the Architectural Board of Review, where attendees may observe meetings, and public hearings of the City Planning Commission/Board of Zoning Appeals, where public comments are included as part of the public hearing. Currently, all public meetings and hearings are being conducted via Zoom due to the global pandemic. Please check back to this site for updated meeting agendas, presentations, and actions.
