Applications are now being accepted for the 2023 Citizens Police Academy. This popular 10-week program is sponsored by Shaker's Police Department and is open to Shaker Heights residents and those who work in the City full-time. The course is intended to raise citizen awareness of police procedures and programs. Students are provided with all necessary materials and there is no fee for the course.
This year's Academy starts on September 7. Classes meet on Thursday evenings, 7-10 pm, for 10 weeks. Location: Shaker Heights Police Dept. (3355 Lee Rd.). Learn more about this program (or apply) at Citizens Police Academy.
