[ARCHIVED] Pavement Marking Starts May 28

Orange Road Work Ahead sign

Pavement marking starts on Monday, May 28 (weather permitting). Crews will start on the City's main roads, with side streets scheduled for later in the season. The first roads scheduled for repainting are South Woodland Rd., Chagrin Blvd., Warrensville Center Rd., Lee Rd. and Fairmount Blvd.

Please note:

  • During long-line painting on main roads, traffic will be required to travel at the pace of the paint truck.
  • When crews are working on crosswalks and stop bars, lanes will be blocked for short periods.
  • Crews will work during the day and night. Daytime work will start after 9 am; night work will start between 6-7 pm and wrap up in the early morning.

The work should be completed by mid-August.
