Updated September 10: Much of the concrete work for the new walkway is complete. Orange barrels have been temporarily removed from Warrensville Center Rd. while the contractor prepares for future phases.
Construction is expected to resume at the intersection of Warrensville/Chagrin on or about September 24, and continue off and on as various elements of the project are installed. Landscaping on Farnsleigh and Warrensville will be installed in October 2019 and continue into the spring 2020 planting season if necessary.
Much of this work will require temporary closure of travel lanes along Warrensville in specific work zones. Traffic in both directions will be maintained, though motorists should anticipate delays.
All traffic pattern changes and detours will be signed throughout the project duration. Access to all businesses will be maintained during construction. All dates are approximate as the timing of each phase is dependent upon the weather. Expected completion is spring 2020.
