Dear Resident,

In this Mayor’s Report, I invite you to attend - in person or virtually- the upcoming State of the City address Thursday, January 26 at 7 pm, sponsored by the Shaker Heights Chapter of the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland. I also discuss several major plans in the works for Shaker Heights in 2023, including the progress on the restoration of Doan Brook at Horseshoe Lake Park; the 100% Renewable Electric Aggregation Program; the Community Attitude Survey; the Lee Road Action Plan, and the second phase of the Van Aken District.

Also, be sure to stop by the Shaker Library Main Branch Saturday, January 21 from 2-3 pm for the next Chat with the Mayor event. I will be joined by the City’s Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, Colleen Jackson; and the Recreation Department Director, Alex Nichols.
