Dear Resident,
In this Mayor’s Report, I introduce Shaker’s new Chief of Police, Wayne Hudson, who was officially sworn in just a week ago but has already hit the ground running.
Chief Hudson and I join our voices with those condemning the senseless killing of Tyre Nichols in Memphis as shown on video released at the end of last week. We, along with City Council, want to reassure residents of our commitment to keeping our residents and employees safe while upholding the highest standards for our police department and ourselves.
