Lower Lake Dam Inspection

Conversation with Shaker Teens

Shaker Teens, Join us for free food and fun and tell us what you think. How do you like living in Shaker? What can the City do to make this a better place for teens to live? Senior Movie Matinee Wednesdays

September 6, 13 and 27,12:30 pm

Doggie Dip at Thornton Park Pool

Saturday, September 9, 10 am-1 pm

Bring your pup to Thornton Park Pool, where they can swim in the unheated and unchlorinated water and enjoy the company of their canine friends. Only dogs will be permitted in the water for safety reasons. Register in advance for discounted admission!

Democracy Day 2023

Monday, September 11, 7:30 pm

Democracy Day was established by an initiative petition approved by voters in November 2016 and is held every two years. The hearing will be at City Hall (3400 Lee Rd.) and via Zoom. Attendees will be granted up to 5 minutes to speak. Learn more.

National Public Lands Day

Pool Schedule Updates

Thornton Park Pool is now open weekends only and closes for the season on Labor Day. Starting Monday, September 18, residents can swim at the Shaker Heights Middle School and Woodbury School pools. Check the Recreation website for details.
