Cuyahoga County Board of Health Offers Pre-Registration for COVID Vaccine to Eligible Groups
Residents who are eligible for Phase 1A or 1B of Ohio's COVID-19 vaccine rollout can now pre-register for the vaccine. The Cuyahoga County Board of Health (CCBH) will contact those who are eligible as slots become available at clinics run by the agency. CCBH cautions that that due to the large number of people who qualify in Phase 1A, they do not know when 1B vaccines will be available.
Only residents eligible for Phase 1A or 1B should sign up at this time.
Phase 1A: Residents working in healthcare settings and those working/living in group communities (e.g. nursing homes).
Phase 1B: Residents age 65 and older; residents with severe congenital, developmental or early onset medical disorders; staff at K-12 schools.

As noted, these notifications are for Cuyahoga County Board of Health vaccine events only. The state will announce additional vaccine providers for Phase 1B later this week; these will include pharmacies, hospitals, urgent care centers, and others.
