Join Us to Help Develop the Van Aken Bikeway

Community Engagement Round 2 — April 13 & April 18

Join members of the City’s Planning Department for a second round of community engagement for the Van Aken Bikeway Plan. Earlier this year, residents shared ideas for the future Van Aken Bikeway. Come hear about the concept created from the community’s vision and share your feedback to help us shape this connection from the Van Aken District to Lee Road. Lane reconfiguration and changes to on-street parking are likely. Both events take place at St. Dominic Church & School (19000 Van Aken Blvd.)

Details: You’re invited to experience Van Aken Boulevard on foot or by bike. Along the way, we’ll discuss ways in which the City of Shaker Heights might improve Van Aken Boulevard for cyclists through the Van Aken Bikeway Plan. We’ll wrap up the tour with a discussion for you to share your thoughts and preferences.
