Van Aken District: Juneteenth - A Celebration of Freedom and Unity

Monday, June 19, 2023

Celebrate Juneteenth, our nation's second Independence Day, honoring the emancipation of the remaining enslaved people in Texas by Union troops on June 19, 1865. The day includes: NHL United by Hockey Bus (mobile museum), a performance by Sha'ran Studios, and Live Music by Xcetera.
