Chief Administrative Officer
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) serves as the City’s Chief Operating Officer, working closely with the Mayor and Council on strategic, budgeting and administrative matters. The CAO oversees the day-to-day operations of the City’s 13 departments, reviews departmental operating and capital budgets, and approves the hiring of personnel, expenditures of City funds and the use of City facilities. As Clerk of Council, the CAO oversees the preparation of agendas and materials for Council and Committee work sessions and meetings.
